Wow... Was this a bumper sticker placed in the window in Erick Schat's Bakery? In 1994 I was in a group of 8 kids biking across the country. We called the project "Donuts not Drugs" and had been donated some bumper stickers to hand out. Our goal was to bike across the country looking for the best donut and bakery. When we stopped in Bishop Mr. Schat took us is in and treated us extremely well (lot's of Sheperd's Bread). He must have placed our bumper sticker in his window...
Why am I commenting now? Paul Harvey passed away today. We were interviewed for his show before we left for the trip. On hearing the news I remembered the trip and did a search on our theme and your blog came up... small world.
Wow, it was Erick Schat's Bakery. Thanks, Tom, for the follow up. It is a small world and sadder now without Paul Harvey.
