I'm fairly sure that little gas pump symbol didn't exist when I learned to drive and neither did that little arrow underneath. If I bothered to read the car manual, I might have discovered it but what geek would read those? It seems at age 65 there are still things to be learned. My recent travel mate informed me that not knowing which side of the pump to approach was not an excuse to not fill up the rental car.
