Checking out at Trader Joes, the clerk asked me if I store my pineapples upside down. "Why would I do that?" I asked.
"They are like peanut butter," she explained. "You know how some parts are better than others? The sugar separates and settles on the bottom. Turn it over for a day and it will work it's way through and even out the sugar content."
We shall see.
