Whattention: Little J is 3

He celebrated his birthday along with Valentine festivities. Nemo was a hit at the birthday party. Grandma is grateful that his daycare/preschool teacher takes care of these things for her.

Whattention

Little J approaches, arms wide, lower lip quivering, eyes wild, "I need whattention" he says.

"You need what?" I ask.

"Whattention" Now he's almost in tears, grabbing at my leg.

I squat down which isn't an easy thing these days with my knees all out of joint. I am greeted with a bear grasping hug. As he nestles into my shoulder I figure out "Whattention."

Earlier in the day Grandpa and I were discussing the amount of attention Little J seems to need. Obviously Little J heard us say "whattention". Am I going to correct his pronunciation? Not a chance... for now anyway. And yes, I did clue in his daycare so they would know what he needs.

Update: I ordered some ChicoBags I ordered purple ones. I must have purple. But purple was out of stock and they said I wouldn't get them until February. Guess what? I got them yesterday!!!! Yes! Now to go shopping and fill them up.

Cars cars cars

Yep, I did it. Signed up for another 5 years of car payments. Poor me.

Last time I went into the Saturn dealership I said, "just give me the most basic, no frills one ya got." And that is what I got. It isn't a bad car (tell that to my hubby who must now drive it). It's just that you know when you try to get on the freeway and your body is lurching forward trying to give the car a little bit of umph to make it into the flow of traffic? Well.....

So this time I said, "show me one with a bit more energy, one that goes when you step on the gas." I got it. I got extras. I deserve it. Remind me when that first payment slip arrives.

Why Saturn? This is my fourth one. They are reliable, have a good safety record, Saturn service has always been excellent and it's what I afford.

Why is it red (just like my old one)? How could a Red Hat Society Queen drive anything but... besides they don't come in purple.
