Red Hat Molls

2 Molls escaped town for a couple of days. They ended up on Sutter Creek where they found the Clothes Mine shop... you must go there if you are looking for red hatter clothing and hats (yes we bought our straw fedoras there... and yes we bought more than one hat each). Be sure stroll across the street to Tea Era. The Royal Tea is excellent.

For some reason the archives for the last year have not been accessible. Believe me, they have not disappeared. I have requested help from Blogger and hope the issue is resolved soon.

This was a busy weekend for some of the Molls. It all started on Friday night when we joined the Vineyard Vixens for the concert in the Park in Pleasanton with The Cooltones Swing Band.

On Saturday twenty two red hatters enjoyed dinner at Basil Leaf Cafe before attending Wigged out in Danville. Marilyn was there to greet us (yes she is one of us...can you recognize who she is).

The only problem was that we didn't have time for dessert so a few of us returned to Basil Leaf Cafe.

Golden Gate Fields Racetrack was the gathering place on Sunday for more than a hundred red hatters from several bay area chapters.

Molls... check the calendar... don't miss out on our fun events coming up!

Thanks to Vonne Anne we had a great trip to San Francisco today. First we ate lunch... can you tell where from this picture?

A tourist stopped us for a photo for his wife in Florida who also happens to be a red hatter. We asked him to take one with our camera too.

Then we enjoyed Tea at Five at the Marine's Memorial Theatre. Yes, we all removed our hats so the people behind could see the show even though we suffered some disparaging remarks from old fuddy duddy in back row.
