Red Hat Molls

It seems that I have created an entry that may be misinterpretted (see Sat. March 20th). I believe that the Global Girls really presented the Molls with "How to Be A Lady" with intent to afford us some humor (we were properly misbehaving). Some of the Global Girls (who are properly attired in their pink hats) are young but believe me they are doing a great job of following their Red Hat Mentors. They know all the "non-rules" and more. We certainly enjoyed their company and look forward to meeting up with them again. I meant no offense whatsoever. What more can I say? Keep your sense of humor, Ladies... life's too short.

Or remember, you can always overthrow your queen.

Big thanks goes to Grace for acting as "Queen for the Day." We all enjoyed our lunch at the Cathay Restaurant. Profile of Madam Cho at Buddha's Universal Church was a delight. And the BART ride amid the war protestors was.... well let's just say it was... interesting.

Thanks Grace for a job well done.

When we visited the Global Girls in Reno, they gave us this piece about ladies so we will learn how to behave better:

Several Molls ventured to Reno aboard the Snow Train last week. We relaxed on the way up, spending a bit of time in the lounge listening to music and chatting. Went to see Broadway the first night at the El Dorado. It was quite a hit.

Wednesday morning we headed back over to the El Dorado where we found this old car. Well, you can't actually see much of it since we are in front of it.

We considered climbing on top of the car but decided to go shopping instead. Then along came this cop...

The cop from Circus Circus was a bit concerned about us all being dressed in our colors. He threatened to call for back up but we persuaded him to join in on the fun.

One of the highlights of our trip was to meet the Global Girls from Reno for lunch at the Silver Legacy. Queen Elaine and Queen Margie are seated in the middle of this picture.

After lunch we went on our shopping excursion. Judy is helping Lesley model a fashionable dress at the antique mall. (Forgive me Lesley - I just had to put this in)

Now this lady really knows how to dress for a pj party (don't ever utter the word banana in front of her)

I will be opening my mail box very carefully for the next few days. Someone might try to get even with me.
