RED HAT DAY APRIL 25th

In observance of Red Hat Day some of the Molls gathered together at Waterfront Park in Martinez, to eat, plan our May 22nd picnic, and check out the new banner. Thank you Carole for doing such a wonderful job.

The plans are coming along great and once the queen gets out from under the pile of work on her desk, she will update all involved. Thank you for your patience!

The Queen of the RHS Molls has spoken and she's way too exhausted to speak anymore.

The Queen apologizes for her lack of Royal News. It seems we have all been a bit busy with Red Hat Activities.

On March 20th we went to Buddha's Universal Church to see the play "Profile of Madam Cho." This was a bilingual play complete with contemporary humor and drama. Sorry, no pictures allowed.

On March 21st a few of us went to Mare Island for the Daffodil Tea High Tea at one of the officer's quarters. Before the tea we went to church.... sort of.... we learned all about the historic Saint Peter's Chapel and were quite impressed with the performance of St. Patrick's Vocal Ensemble, "the Jazz Tec." Here we are all seated in the church pews like real church ladies.

Some of us ventured out on a Saturday night, April 3rd, to see Wigged Out at Victoria's Hair on Stage. Several members showed up from local Red Hat chapters adding our usual color throughout the audience. The show was a riot. The Queen did not take her camera. Bad Queen.

Okay, the Queen is off to pack her suitcases for the Dallas Convention.
