Valentines and Birthdays

Little J turned 4 on Valentines Day. So here he is celebrating a day early with his parents.

Since Little J shares the Valentine birthday with another little girl at preschool it was a long sugar ridden week. On Tuesday Little J got to host his birthday party with pizza, cupcakes and goody bags. Wednesday the kids got a load of valentine treats. Thursday was the celebration of the other Valentine Baby birthday complete with more cake and goodies. Today we withdraw from sugar.

Not Bird Poo?

Well, it looks like I might have been fooled into spending $2 for that car wash the other day... next time I'll check out the newspaper first. Check out today's Close to Home...

Oh well, I had a nice clean car to drive through the stormy rain to a red hat tea today.

Bad Birds

Why did I get targeted? I was only in the store long enough to pick up few necessities. Guess I should have stayed home and watched the Super Bowl. Good thing the car wash was just around the corner.

Before the Queen

Saturday was a beautiful sunny day just made for a walk across the Golden Gate. If we had waited another 24 hours we could have walked over Queen Mary 2. Oh well.

Raiders in the Night

So now we know why our cat food bill is out of control. More visitors.

Visitor

We see a lot of these around our yard. They provide the best excuse to maintain our garden a la natural. This one takes a break from trimming our front yard ivy to check out who's on the other side of the window.

Rusty III

My first pet (or at least the first pet I can remember) was a big orange tabby cat named Rusty. He disappeared when he was a couple years old. Many cats later I finally found Rusty II, a lively and a bit skiddish orange tabby who has run our house for the last 6 years. Little J chose to make this orange cat at Build A Bear. Not a chance that he would name him anything but Rusty.:-)

What's on Your Ipod?

I got one of these for Xmas. I love it. Today the person who gave it to me suggested we could trade Ipods for a week and check out each others music. Heh... more than half of mine would be Tom Rigney and Flambeau. So what do you think? Would you share your Ipod? I'm thinking it could be a new line... no more "want to come over and see my etchings".

Happy New Year

what better way to bring in the new year... Best friends... Listening to the best music... Tom Rigney was practically in our own back yard. How cool is that?

Windy Progress

The winds are fast and furious today. No way would you ever find me up on this roof. Here I sit in my cozy office observing the progressive loss of my hillside view. Ah well... More progress.
